Description
Search online bibliographic databases, organize references and images, and create bibliographies and figure lists instantly. Instead of spending hours typing bibliographies, or using index cards to organize references, do it the easy way—by using EndNote! EndNote for Windows and Macintosh is a valuable all-in-one tool that integrates the following tasks into one program:

• Search bibliographic databases on the Internet
• Organize references and images in a database
• Construct your paper with built-in manuscript templates
• Watch the bibliography and figure list appear as you write!

Endnote Versions 8 and 9 have been released. Version 8 has many bugs and we do not recommend using Endnote 8. At the time of producing this CD (February 2006) we have not fully evaluated Version 9. At this time the University Library do not provide training or support for Endnote 9, and we continue to support Version 7. Note that Endnote libraries made with Version 7 and earlier are not compatible with Endnote Version 8 or later.

System and Hardware Requirements

• Windows ME/2000/XP (For compatibility on Windows 98SE and NT 4 see below).
• Pentium or compatible
• Hard disk with 62MB available
• 64MB RAM
• CD-ROM drive
• Internet connection required to search Internet databases

EndNote files are compatible across Windows and Macintosh platforms (same version).

Available at no cost for University of Sydney staff and registered students.

Note: University staff and registered students will need their staff or student login name and passwords to access Endnote installation pages.

Note: When using Endnote 7 with MS Word 2003 it may be necessary to manually install the EndNote Cite While You Write (CWYW) tools into Word in order to get the programs to work together.
