Classes

All classes for the BAppSc (Exercise & Sport Science) degree are held on the Cumberland campus at Lidcombe.

Students in the combined BAppSc (Exercise & Sport Science)/BSc (Nutrition) degrees will have classes at both Cumberland campus (BACH, BIOS and EXSS units) and Camperdown (CHEM, MBLG units).   In first semester, students will do chemistry at Camperdown on Monday and Tuesday afternoons, and all day Friday.

Credit for previous study

Applications for credit for previous study will be assessed after you have enrolled. You should enrol in the standard program in the first instance. Applications are assessed on a unit by unit basis.  If your previous studies are equivalent in terms of content, level and duration, to any units in your course, then credit may be awarded.   For units starting with BACH, BIOS or EXSS, applications must be submitted to the Faculty of Health Sciences before 23 February (for both semester 1 and 2).  Click here  to download an application.

For CHEM and MBLG units, applications must be submitted to the Faculty of Science.  Click here for details of application procedures and to download an application.

Bridging courses

Although there are no pre-requisites for entry to these courses, students who have not studied HSC chemistry (or feel they need brush up their knowledge) are advised to do a bridging course.  The chemistry bridging course run at Camperdown campus is recommended for Exercise & Sport Science and Exercise & Sport Science/Nutrition.  For details click here.

You can do the bridging course at Cumberland campus, if this is more convenient.  For details click here.
