Rehabilitation Research Centre

The Rehabilitation Research Centre and its staff members provide specialised clinical diagnostic and therapy services for clients or patients who may require specific assistance. These diagnostic and therapy services frequently are for individuals who are referred by their physician or compensation agency for specific assessments or treatment which is not usual for hospital-based service providers or private practitioners. Often, the assessments and treatments undertaken are on a fee-for-service basis where specialised research equipment or research personnel are used to deliver the service.
Health service providers or compensation agencies who require more information about these services are encouraged to contact the Director of the Rehabilitation Research Centre.
The Rehabilitation Research Centre and its staff members provide a range of specialised clinical education, seminars and other instructional services for allied health professionals or patient groups who may require specific information and training. These educational services frequently are for individuals or groups who may wish "state-of-the-art" information or training. Currently, the Centre undertakes these activities under its Community Service mandate for allied health professionals, human movement specialists or for peer-disability support groups. Often, the clinical education, seminars and other instructional services are undertaken are on a fee-for-service basis where specialised educational materials, research equipment or research personnel are used to deliver the service.
